4 One thing I ask from the Lord,

Petra Imara
The mission of Petra Imara is
'cultivating a Kingdom culture through communion with the King'.
This communion isn't just the means to the end of a culture change; this union with the King is the goal. The culture change will flow from it naturally.
Petra Imara works with individuals with a Kingdom mission.
Vision bearers, who work in an organisation or business as means to that mission's end.
Petra Imara originated in 2021, and means Rock Solid.
Petra is Latin for Rock, and it's my first name :).
Imara is the Swahili word for Solid.
Together this makes Rock Solid - God the Rock, as firm foundation, unshakable. Through which we can also stand firm (in our identity/calling/(com)mission) and be a rock towards others.

1 I love you, Lord, my strength.
2 The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,

COMMUNION
Relatiionship, connection, and deeper still: unity and community. With God, and each other.
TRUST
God the Rock - a rock to lean on, to build on, with a deep trust of His unshakable nature. Like my sister wrote on her mirror when she was small: 'I've got this - God'.
BEAUTY
Beauty and esthetics - on the inside and the outside. God created the world and He saw it was good. He created men and saw it was very good. Beauty is a language God speaks to draw us closer to His heart - a heart full of beauty.
SIMPLICITY / REST
"If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal." (1 Cor 13:1) And: " "In quietness and trust is your strength," (Isaiah 30:15)
In a world of 'more, more, more', we believe in the power of stillness, peace and simplicity.
DIRECTION
We believe in being a direction indicator - pointing towards the Core, the Foundations. And, from there, to find direction to continue the road of life.
